2)Mera wayungba=Sky lamp in kartik month

In Kartika month, after bathing in the morning, one should worship Lord Damodara. At night, one should light brilliant lamps filled with either ghee or sesame-seed oil, and place them in these places –
a)in the Lord’s temple,
b)around the base of tulasi plants, and
c)in the sky.

3)Makha / south = Lord of Dead / Yama.

4)Santhong / south west ={lord of Dead / Nirritti}, Lainingthou Asiba / Sanamahee;

5)Nongchup / west =Nong(rain)+chup(taba natraga punsinpham){Lord of Water / Varun};

6)Koubru / northwest ={Lord of Strength/ Wind / Vayu}; Lainingthou YUUHAA,

7)Awang / north ={Lord of wealth / Kubera}; Koubru

8)Chinkhei / north east ={Lord of power / Ishana}; Lainingthou Marjing.

4). Lord of Dead / Nirriti is Guardian of South west direction, and Lainingthou Ashiba /
chingoo khoyum Ashiba SANAMAHEE is Guardian of South west direction.

7). Lord Kubera is Guardian of North in veda and Lord Koubru is also Guardian of North in Manipur.

8). Lord Ishana is an avatar of Lord Shiva, who is guardian of the direction of North East. In Manipur Lord Marjing is Guardian of North East and is always riding on horse. Lord Shiva usually used Nandi or bull as His vehicle, but Lord Khandoba an avatar of Lord Shiva is always riding on horse. Lord Marjing and Lord Ishana/Shiva govern North east direction only; Picture below:-
